I think for my next single, I'm going to build a S&G hard-chined Greenland style hull with a smoothly rounded woodstrip deck similar to the Guillemot's.

I'll build the hull and probably glass it outside/tape inside. Then, I'll cut some temporary plywood forms that just fit inside the deck at 1' increments. I'll cut the tops of the forms to a nice deck design and strip it in the "normal" fashion, and join the two halves at the bottom of the strips/top of the plywood sheer line.
