I've certainly though about this and feel that this would indeed be the way to go, infusion or RTM.

A few rambling thoughts on the matter ...

Viscosity is the killer in the whole process. It will do all kinds of nasty things to you that you might not think about. First off it could drag your cloth along with it as it creaps along the hull surface. I've seen a piece that was under thousands of pounds pressure in a mold creap the cloth as much as a centimeter as the very low high temperature resin was injected.

I would buy the lowest viscosity, slowest curing resin I could find. I would then experiment with heat (100++ degreef F) and curing times. I would hope to find a combination of very low viscosity (water like) and working time. Then use this for a vaccume assist wet out and then like you metionions work the wet out front by moving the epoxy source along with it using pre-installed quick-connect pressure taps.

Where to place you pressure taps will be a trial and error process and one that you will not likely get "right" the first time. I would as an initial try place vacume taps along the keel line every 1.5 ft and then place corresponding epoxy feed lines on either side of the join line.

I would also use a clear vinyl bagging material so I could work the front through the bag with a squegee.
