I find this rather ironic -- you chastize those of us who build with 'standard' lay-ups and wood thicknesses, maybe because we're too lazy to try something new. Or in my case I didn't want to experiment too much just yet. I have one stitch-and-glue and one stripper under my belt. With kayak #3 it'll be time to start experimenting...
