Deeds, I installed the kit seat. It doesn't look fancy, but it sems pretty comfortable to me. When I demo'd the Artic Tern in Port Townsend their standard kit seat felt fine, but I didn't spend more than 20 minutes demoing each of their kayaks. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to take my newly finished Tern out on Puget Sound for an extended paddle and really check out the seat.
