I Have so far I think I have mastered the stapleless aproach and do think im winning and making great time. I have acomplished this by spending a great deal of time in the prep prosess but do belive its paying off. Buy cutting the forms out of 16"x24" 3/4 plywood (spending the 78 bucks for the plans ) using the center line to glue the lay out prescisley on the 16x24 ply wood (snap line 12" on 2ftx8ft rip befor cutting into 16" pices)Then drilling a 3/8 hole on the edge of the lay out and cutting the form then going back and removing 3/8 of the ply wood .Then anchroing the 24x16 to a 18"x 16 ft table that I constructed that is true and stright, by anchroing each end first then pulling string .the out side forms keep the center true and I slid the strips in and tighten them down with small wedges.it is realy fast and you can gain major leverage to get the strips to conform so far I have about 10 hour's in the striping and have finished the bottom..all this with just 10 clamps and one zillion 3/8x0x2" wood wedges.Ps I got a great price on the wedges. Rick Thomas Oh be shure and remove the 3/8 from the outer form
