I used RAKA 350 hardner on a Wee Lassie Two last year. I had no problems with blushing, cratering etc. It seemed quite thin to me and wetted out the fabric nicely (though I used 4oz cloth). Nice clear finish. The only gripe I had was with those blasted pumps! Any errors and mistakes on this boat, I'd have to attribute to the builder (that'd be me). I did, however, base my decision to go with RAKA mostly on price, since I had no experience with any other products (1st boat). Mr. Steeves gave me the names of a couple of builders that used RAKA. I spoke with them......remarks were very positive. My boating is pretty tame compared to most folks here (inland lakes and navigation riverways). The canoe doesn't suffer much abuse. RAKA seems OK to me. I have a good bit left......building a S&G kayak now....similar to the "Mill Creek" boats. This one is kind of an experiment, to see if we like the boat....and the construction technique. I'm thinking of stripping the deck somehow though, as I'm using 5.2mm luan for the hull. That stuff, I don't think, is going to want to bend enough for the deck. good luck. garland
