Nope. I did the hull of my Outer Island first, and given a minor problem I encountered (gassing, I think) I'm glad I did. The deck went much better.

Some people recommend that you not leave a whole lot of time between glassing the inside and outside of either the deck or hull. The curing epoxy shrinks a bit, which could cause your hull or deck to warp a bit. Doing the inside as soon as is convienient after doing the inside will help equalize these forces and (hopefully) keep them from distorting. I did my hull first, outside/inside, then the deck, outside/inside. Things match up pretty well. If you do have to leave the project for a while, at least put the hull or deck back on the forms and wrap a strap around it so it won't distort.
