As the original poster on the CLC board, I can thank Dave from Florida for the correct numbers... anyone else building this from the article who wants the correct offsets, drop me an e-mail and I'll pass them on. As this is my first boat I'm not too sure if this is a common occurance or not. I would have thought somebody directly involved like CLC or Seakayaker would have tried to set the record straight ASAP but I suppose I'm old fashioned in thinking we could still live in a world of accepting responsibilty for our actions. Is this a common occurance in the world of kayak building?
