Good observation. Here's a suggestion. I built an Arctic Tern and a Chesepeake from kits using just the epoxy from one kit. OK, you have to be very anal about waste but it can be done. So, order a kit from CLC and get a little extra cloth (the $10 deck glassing option should do it). Then, get the basic kit from Pygmy (no glass or epoxy). Now you have both boats and you've saved $150 or so. But be anal about that epoxy.
