hi Ian, you haven't specified characteristics about a boat that are defining your choosing, from purely a boat handling standpoint I like the Coho,you may like the W.R. as it tracks more strongly. The coho has a very big cockpit, so if you like snug thigh braces that may involve some modification,the clc coaming is more keyhole shape. opinions ,opinions . As far as customer relations are concerned I would pick the boat as that is what you will be paddling.

Just to put things in perspective, after paddling for only 9 yrs and many different types of boats I keep developing "opinions" about what is good design and leave some boats behind. Most of the time when I get back into one of those boats i find those less desirable characteristics not so bad after all. An uncomfortable seat is the only big problem.
