In Response To: Epoxy and the cold observation (Derek)

Hi derek, can't say anything about mahogony, but when I glassed the deck of my first kayak it was near a window in the garage, even though I made sure to start glassing(on unsealed wood) in the afternoon when the temp was dropping, I noticed the next morning when the sun hit one section of the stern that teeny, tiny little bubbles formed in the weave of the glass. Even though the epoxy was pretty firm. Next time around no sun hits on wet glass, but that's part of the reason for sealing the wood beforehand.
