Scot, are these lines where the glass doesn't lay flat against the seam? are you able to dab epoxy through the (hopefully) weave? If the bubbles are teeny tiny can't see unless your six inches away it sounds cosmetic. At the ends of the boat it's definately cosmetic since there's at least a 1/2-2 inches of epoxy/glass/wood.

sort of a tangent, talked to a guy yesterday whose S&G kayak came off the roof at 45mph, it survived with lots of scratches.
