This is all the stuff I've been building that's kept me away from building boat #2 - a Guillemot.

That's actually the way the Beckson pumps are built. I stayed awake many nights trying to figure out a hollow pump shaft or some way to make the return the discharge stroke, or make it double action, but to no avail.

I think my next trick is to figure out a bulkhead-mounted footpump made from 6" SCH40 pvc for hands-free pumping.
