Mike, I used that on my last boat. Once you get used to working with it, it's not that much harder to apply than open weave. You are already aware of it's difficulties. Also, it tends to bubble a little more than open weave. For me, I like the open weave better, and am planning on using RAKA 4oz 60" open weave on the current project. I'd suggest getting a small amount from Larry, and trying it. Also, test it. I thought it peeled off easier, but that could be me and not the glass.
