Regarding the osprey boat; I built one 3 years ago and it is probably the BMW of stitch&glue kayaks. It's fast,pretty,and does, as they advertise "track like it's on rails". However, it takes about 40 acres to do a 180 turn and without a rudder it slides off badly from following waves. Overall though it is a really nice design and i've had 110lbs in mine along with the live weight of 175lbs and it handled a little sluggishly but kept up to any other boat I was with.
