Dean--It sounds like something is wrong somewhere. Fairness is best judged by what looks right. A couple of questions, since I've never built an Outer Island. 1. Are the sheer strips at the widest point on the boat and do they define the joint between the hull and deck? 2. Is it possible that forms 7 & 8 are switched on the strongback? 3. Could form 8 be misdrawn? 4. How much does the strip have to be pushed in to contact form 8?
