hi shawn, how are the thigh braces in you clc installed? I found that if one uses flat minicell there still isn't much grip as the foam follows the curve of the deck and knees thighs still slide out easily. If you put in a good sized wedge then knees/thighs can stop easily and not press hard. There are some hip pads , made out of heavy nylon and different sized minicell with straps, that curve over the hips and do a great job connecting to the boat. It's getting windy around here, time to paddle in the clc 16
