A good place to find information on steam bending is in woodworking books. Taunton press ( www.taunton.com ) which prints Fine Woodworking magazine has a good selection or you can go to Amazon.com and do a search on woodworking tecniques. You will be surprised at the number of books with information in it. Chairmakers especially do a lot of steam bending for their craft. I've looked at some of these for this very reason. There is a lot on technique and the woods to use and how to make your own steamer. Good luck.
