I am very reluctant to censor anyone. I like open discussion and don't want to be put in the position of having to decide what is appropriate. Dealing with worthless posts is a waste of my time. I prefer to just not read posts from those people who don't have anything worth reading.

With George, I only read his posts if they generate a lot of responses. And then I do it with the hope that they are interesting. I rarely find anything but a waste of my time. I just deleted several more of his posts. Although it is not hard to do, this takes time and is a hassle. I don't want the bother.

The easiest solution is to just not respond to posts you don't think are worthwhile. If nobody reads his posts, maybe he won't waste his time writing worthless messages.

I can block anybody's ability to post but I will only do so as a last resort. If someone does not abide by the guidelines for this BBS I might delete/edit the post. If this gets to be too much of a drain on my time, I might block that person's ability to post. I do not like being forced to be the arbiter of what is appropriate. I hope I will not be put in that position again.
