Fred, you use the same epoxy for making the fillets as well as general bonding wood/wood,wood/glass cloth. The epoxy used in making the fillets has been thickened with wood flour (very fine sawdust) or similar. You don't want to use very viscous epoxy for glassing. I don't know what durabond is. Read the book, see the movie, have fun.
