The cove and bead does seam like it might be a lot faster from all that I've read; however, I have not found the strips lining up to be too much of a problem. I start gluing at one end and work to the other end. I duct tape between each form with 2 pieces of duct tape, and if a strip still doesn't want to fair I add a clamp across the new strip and the adjacent strip so they will fair. I only have 2 small places so far that the strip moved slightly and didn't fair, but I smoothened it out easily with a plane. I've been planing it when I get extra time and it doesn't look like it's going to take too much sanding. I think it is taking a lot of time because I have to wait for the glue to dry before continuing.
