As I recall the 500 series comes with 1.5" fittings rather than the 1" fittings on the 400 series, and both are on the same pump body. Can you articulate why you went with the larger size, which I'm assuming will be more difficult to install? At the time, it didn't seem like the 500 had that much more capacity.
