Polyester resin

I got some questions regarding the polyester I am using. It is called 540M870 from a Scandinavian company called Jotum polymer. It is a ortopolyester they also has a more common resin called 540M850. The 870 is nice to work with and very similar to epoxy. Meaning a pain to sand but the 870 has a nicer surface. And the hardening (curing??) time is much shorter than for epoxy. With some luck and hard work I will have my new kayak ready in 1-2 weeks.

Ill be back.
