Of course, if you decide to make an internal tube for the grab rope, why not make one for the grab too?

Carve a knob, put on the end of a 4" pc of broom handle and stick it out the front!!

Or carve a nice grinning face on the knob. Sculpture your bosses face and ram your kayak into a rock!! Me - I'd go for my old DOOM face at 30% health - doesn't matter if I slip with my chisel!! Trouble is - it's a pretty good self portrait!!

Weellll, I'm finished this series for now, and I'm happy that I didn't let that old post die and this reprise is a bit more satisfying. I sure hope you got something out of it - an idea or chuckle or hey I've already done this. Happy building!
