I just finished a West River 164 last week. It took 10 weeks to complete it. It could hae been done faster were it not for a wife that didn't fully appreciate the amount of time I was spending in the garage. I have never built a boat before and I have little wood working experience, yet the kit went together very well. I worked on it 3 nights a week for about 2 hours each night and I threw in a couple of full weekends during sanding. If you like a multi-chine boat, don't let the CLC brochure scare you away from it.
