Delamination

I had this happen on the hull of my Guillemot. When I cut the section out the epoxy underneath the glass was still wet. I think I may have not mixed the epoxy properly in that area during the wet out and the fill coats over the top hardened. If you know what you are looking for you can find the patch pretty easily because the wood darkened around the edges of the glass I cut out. Other than that the patch isn't noticable.

If you decide to repair it and find the epoxy gooey underneath, be prepared to take of a more glass than you first expected. The delamination that you see may be just the start of a larger area.
