I developed a rash after working with epoxy several years ago. My doctor put be on an oral dose of "prednozone" for about a month. He said it would reset the alergic reaction that builds up in your system. Since then I have attached my sander to my shop vacuum to reduce dust. I always wear a body shop respirator. You can clean any epoxy that gets on you with white vinegar. Always wear surgical gloves...even when sanding.

You could finish the kits you have with polyester resin. It is easer to work with but not as strong. All of the production boats are built with polyester. I have several boats built with polyester and they work out just fine. Don't give up on boat building just because you can't use epoxy!
