Hi Greg,

I have heard the same thing, but how much weight is actually involved? Epoxy is less viscous so it will fill easier than varnish, and if you fill the weave with varnish, how much weight are you actually saving over filling with epoxy? Seems to me that the tried and true methods are working well. Why fix it if it ain't broke?
