: : Nick,
: : Thanks for putting up the bulletin board. I bet this
: : turns into a major resource for homebuilders.

: I will add my thanks too. I wish the site could somehow be kept at a fairly high level of quality, meaning that ideas which are not supported by direct experience should possibly not be posted. Can this be part of the site-etiquette ?

: As for your design in stitch and glue construction, Nick, there is something wrong with downloading and printing it: the pages are way too wide to be printed. Do you have any siggestion or was it intended to be that way ?

: Third point: what kind of information can I recover from your desig catalaogue. What I mean is that I lack, as many others, the sufficient knowledge to predict how a boat will behave by simply reading the figures you provide. Can you give average figures tio compare with, or any other explanation, just like on block coeffiecient and prismatic, as you were answering the wavelength letter "boat geometry"

: Thanks and all the best, Stefano
I too hope that the level of discussion can be kept at
a high level. The bulletin board package comes with
an administrator page with which I can delete crap.
I hope I will not need to use it. I don't want to be
put in a position of having to decide what is worth
while and what isn't. I don't want to be accused of
deleting posts because I disagree with them or they
speak poorly of me or Guillemot Kayaks.

My catalog does not give much more information than
My web pages. It does include study drawings of all
my designs.
