>I had simular problem, and had to redo the seam a couple of times to get it alined. I used a large "F" clamp, with cedar on the heads so it wouldn't bite my surface, to aline/set up the edge. Then held it in place with a come-along tie down canvas straps. Then I used wooded wedges (left over from my hull fittings) to pull or push in the hull or deck according to the need. Then I fiberglassed the inside, and left it a whole day to harden.

The deck on my Guillemot has spread about 1and a half inches wider then my
