> Paul. Paul the weather stripping I used on my Cape Charles was black about 1 inch wide and 1/8 thick it had a white shiny backing that you peel off to expose a sticky tape. This stuff worked well at 55 miles an hour in a very heavy down pour there was very little water in the boat. P.S . The kayak was on my truck I was not paddling at that speed. HA HA.
