Sorry for not answering your questions earlier. I posted one yesterday but I don't know where it went since it's not on this BBS. I don't think you ever will get in contact with this epoxy since it's from a manufacturer here in Sweden called BHP. The epoxy is slow curing and has a mix ratio of 1:2. I did not start working on the kayak again for about two to three days after I had glassed the deck. So it should not have been in a green state if that is what the epoxy is in before it is fully cured. The weave wasn't completely filled which made scrubbing with scotch brite pad and washing-up liquid a bit harder. After that I rinsed it all off with water and then used the acetone. Do you think I will have to sand into the weave since it wasn't completely filled with resin? Should I use some kind of solvent such as acetone before i put some more layers of epoxy on or should I settle with the sanded surface? How long should I wait before I can put the varnish on?
