Greg, other than the additional fairing, were you happy with the result of the double layer of cloth? I'd like to double up my bottom, but am afraid that an extra layer of 6oz cloth would make the finish cloudier. I've been leaning toward a double 4oz layer. I know George advocates even more layers of lighter cloth, which sounds like a real good idea, I'm just not sure if the added strength is worth the cost for the intended usage of my boat.
