I am scarfing 3mm plywood. My scarf width is approx 1 inch and I am having trouble making 2 scarf joints fit perfectly. Are there any secrets to this? I am using a good hand plane and am working slowly. Also, I am only scarfing one piece at a time as opposed to stacking a bunch of pieces and doing them at once. Any ideas are welcome.
