> Something like this has been done before, I have one sitting in my garage. It was designed by Michael Storer (Aussie) some years ago and he called it a Russki. It is based upon the lines of the Waveskis (which are sit on top type craft). It is about 8' long and 26" wide with a pointed shovel nose and a squarish stern. It has a fin under the seat or c/g. It is hollow and constructed of Gaboon ply (3mm) over a backbone with lateral stiffeners. Mine weighs about 35 lbs, epoxy inside and out plus LPU paint and varnished deck. The seat is shaped from high density foam and glassed into the deck recess. It has foot straps and provision for a seat belt (dangerous to some). I don't have a scanner so I can't post a picture but Storer maybe on the net if you want to try searching for it. Plans are available from Michael Storer out of Sydney Australia.
