I hung cheap blue poly tarps from floor to ceiling around the area to keep dust from migrating from one side of the garage to the other. I did this to separate the sides of my 2 car garage (seperate doors) when I started building so I would keep my dust on one side. There was also a thread a week or so ago about varnishing tips with some pretty good tips in it for success.
