Fight the urge, you won't be sorry, I too wanted to get my G-boat in the water, so as soon as it was close enough to float without any exposed wood, I did, it was out most of the day. Two things happened, on the rear deck(and only there) the epoxy went cloudy, it was okay after the finish coats. The other thing was where I had taped the hatched shut (operational hatches were not on the priority list for the first outing), anyways, when I removed the tape I could seen a difference in the color, light where the tape covered the surface. The contrast appears to be permanent.
