I'm far enough in finishing my Coho that I'm thinking about a pattern for painting. I want to paint the hull (white mostly) and varnish the deck, but was wondering, does any one know of any Web site or other reference that shows different colors/paint designs for sea kayaks?

Also, was wondering, is there anything like colored tape that I could use to put between the painted hull and the varnished deck (I was thining of a contrasting stripe as seen on many fiberglass keyaks); or would this effect simply have to be painted on using masking tape...
