Norman - I have an Exocet and a partner of mine has a Vagabond. The Exocet handles a lot like a Preception "Sea Lion"(glass). The Vagabond will handle tremendious weight - yet is very light and responsive. They'er both great boats. The Exocet is a tight fit for me(6'225lb).The boat totaly fitted out only weighs 45lb. IT won't track with out the rudder - but it really hauls butt! The Vagabond is really nice and solid - just flys up over waves - the Exocet cuts through! We've really been through some NASTY water in San Diego Bay and the local coast line this winter! They'er real tight boats and have great lines - people can't believe it when they find out they'er kit boats. If you decide to do it - find a warm spot - resin took forever in my 40deg garage! I wanted a glass boat - Its really nice - and it's going to keep me happy while I strip my next one!!

Mon. when I get back to the office I'll "e" mail you some more info about construction. It will absolutely take two people.
