Stapling strips between forms

No matter how careful you are to keep your fingers clear, accidents CAN happen. I missed my fingers 99.75% of the time, so out of 1200 staples I only get nipped 3 times. Fortunately, for two of those times I was using 1/4 inch staples, and they didn't do too much damage. Of course, I only changed to those after I got bit by one of the 9/16 inch staples. Nice sharp points on those things. The blood stains sanded off.

I have read of people using two staplers, one with loaded with 9/16 staples for stapling to forms, and another with 1/4 inch staples for stapling between the forms. A piece of colored tape on one of them will help you know which is which.
