I'm down to the final strokes on my Guillemot Exp. Single. I have to tape the hull and deck together plus fit it out with foot rests and deck lines. I hope to be done varnishing and paddling by mid May.

I wish I had kept a log of the time spent on this project. I started in Aug last summer working in fits and starts. I suspect I will be more into the 300hr range by the time I'm done. When you work in short 30 min - 1hr sessions at night you tend not to be as productive as when when you get going on a 4 hour block. If you ask my wife and kids they would estimate 600hrs.
