I just found out that the local Woodcraft Store is sponsoring a "hands-on" demo of building a stripper canoe. The workshop is scheduled for tommorow, Saturday April 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost is $60 and their phone number is 972.241.0701. (I don't know the teacher's name or his/her level of expertise.)
