Mac-

As an aside, At the Small Boat show at the Norwalk (ct) armory last week, Great Canadian had a production (several hundred built) strip canoe with no staple holes. They used some sort of mold to produce (identical?) sides of the boat wich were finished with an "H" section keel and pre milled stems very nice and only $1800 or so. Unfortunaley the manufacturer in canada is bankrupt. Nice boats with a pretty good finish.
