Steve I have put a rear bulk head in my Panche that has the hatch built into it. Up front I havent decided yet on floatation but I will put something up front for saftey concerns. I'm quite happy with the clean look of the deck with no hataches and i'm only planning on day stuff anyways and can always do an on deck hatch up front later if need be. I can email you a few shots of the rear bulkhead and hatch if you like (i have yet to get some web space and figure out how to post pics etc.) Also i had realy good luck seaming the inside of the sheerline without the hatches. I placed a really large syringe on a 9' aluminum pole that dispenced the resin through a bored out squash ball which doubled as a perfect sized squeege for smuching the resin around inside the sheer line. By drilling a few holes on the plunger lid and barell flanges you can feed some thick fishing line through so it can be pulled on back at the end of the handle squeezing out the resin on demand.Its kind of hard to explain this here but if youre interested I could send and atachment picture via the email.
