Hi Bob,

I used Chuck Holst's plans, and there seems to be quite a bit of differences in thicknesses. Gerry called for the blades to be 1/8 thick on the edge, Chuck calls for 3/8" is just one example of the differences. I've been very happy with the strength of a "Chuck" paddle. It took me about 8 hours using hand tools. Most of that was drawing out the lines on the faces before planing.
