I refreshed my ancient Mariner (Escape) with gelcoat, Gwill Industries Inc. 45-1001m white. After it is mixed it goes on like paint but not as smooth. You then attack it with 400 grit wet, 600 grit wet, polishing compound and wax. Came out great and is more "original" or factory than polyurethane paint. About $15 per quart + hardener and wax, sshould take about 1.5 quarts. Good luck, Ray
