I am thinking a bungee idea, but what I really want is a pulley system that would go up to the cockpit through the bulkheads. The bungee idea would be easy but I am afraid of leakage, and it would be hard to open with the tention from the bungee. The pulley idea would be able to pull the hatch very tight and would also be easy to open since you can release the tention. I am still open to ideas, have any?
