> Woody My first one (Perception) came with a bracket to mount on.I may make one from aluminum,but most likely will make the skeg/fin 5 thicknesses at the aft end,for support,and drill a hole as you say .I will probably drill the rudder post to place a cotter pin.I will use a washer top and bottom for a bearing surface,and will glass the hole,or maybe use a piece of PVC or copper tube glassed in the hole.All I know is the rudder makes life much easier in running inlets,in currents and contrary winds.
