Yes, I use this method with a needle on the end in order to fill the infrequent bubble which develops when the glass does not lay flat. Pop the needle in and then fill up the bubble. Have also used it for getting into tight spaces (like the space between the sheer clamp and the deck where I did not bevel with perfect accuracy.
