Greg, looking good! Makes me want to build another. I did one last year, and am building a Rangely Trout fishing boat this year. Don't rush, and enjoy the fun of building it.

Questions:

1. In the first few pics there is something running vertically outside of the strips - is this something used to hold the strips in place instead of staples?

2. Did you use an inner stem?
